Erie, Michigan, USA, October 2018 - Baisch Engineering, a full-service integration engineering firm based in Kaukauna, Wisconsin recently toured Automatic Handling International in Erie, Michigan. Kurt Kloehn, P.E., President, Jeremy Kater, Project Manager, and David R. Weyers, Corporate Director of Baisch Engineering, recently visited the manufacturing and engineering campus and answered in-depth technical questions regarding their experience in the paper & pulp industry.
As consultants and project management leads, the two principals from Baisch were able to share their perspectives on industry trends for integration, broader technical commissioning plan considerations, and construction checkout and startup philosophies.
Automatic Handling was proud to showcase it's latest technologies. During the tour, Baisch Engineering was able to see roll handling equipment, bales de-wiring systems, and patented mechanical fiber reclamation systems at various stages of design, fabrication, and installation.
Over the past decade, Baisch Engineering and Automatic Handling have had the opportunity to work in parallel on numerous projects, and both teams enjoy working side-by-side to develop the most effective solutions to our mutual clients' challenges.
"We enjoyed the opportunity to get to know our friends at AHI a bit better," said Mr. Kloehn. "We appreciate our relationship, and we look forward to continued collaboration."
"Baisch Engineering is a great company to work with," said Andrew Pienta, Regional Sales Director at Automatic Handling International, Inc. "We enjoy collaborating with their team. Their wealth of experience and focus on the customer is key to project success."
Automatic Handling International, Inc recognizes the strong success rate that Baisch Engineering has with executing projects for North American paper mills and the collaborative visit allowed both companies to understand each other's strengths better.
